During this COVID-19 health crisis, we have been working diligently to ensure continuity of care to our patients. As endocrinologists, we are aware that a large portion of our patient population is in the high-risk group for contracting COVID-19 or are caretakers to individuals in the high-risk group. To protect everyone, we have been conducting telemedicine visits since March of 2020. As the number of cases in NJ decreases, and the state begins to open public areas and businesses, we too feel that it is time to begin to safely see more patients in our office. This decision was made after careful monitoring of state and CDC recommendations.
